A country where the president threatened the citizens in supposed broadcast "Democracy, the over and as I am pursuing in Nigeria, recognizes the power of the people. However, if some constituencies choose to bargain off their power, they should be prepared for denial of their rights".
There is nothing to celebrate

An unfortunate reference for a failed State.
It's quite easy to follow the trend and celebrate Nigeria at 60 but what exactly are you celebrating?
Fuel price hike?
High electricity tariff?
Inflation?
Unaffordably High cost of living?
Kidnappings?
Banditry
Terrorism etc
It's easier to follow the bandwagon and wish Nigeria happy Independence but are you truly independent?
What are you happy about?, As a Nigerian are you happy?
Are your people happy for.....
Lack of freedom?
Lack of rights?
Lack of National integration?
Nepotism?
Segregation?
Division?
Killing and maiming of minorities?
Militarization?
Police brutality? Etc
Is Nigeria still a Nation or are we just pretending to belong where we don't feel belonged?
Is Nigeria working or we are just waiting for it to explode and inshallah be among the ones that will pick up the remnants?
I Roy Ekwueme, not in any celebrating mood because my people are not happy so dear Nigeria, thanks but no thanks.
