Someone is trying to use Reno Omokri - Viral

Reno is publicly acknowledged as a genuine voice against the persecuted and the oppressed. However, within the last few hours, something strange occurred.

He said in a post “I have defended the right of any Nigerian to express himself and associate freely but (sic) recently, my perspective on Nigeria changed.”




The above is a recap of the introducing paragraph of his long critique on Nnamdi Kanu which he titled “What would Life be like as a Minority in Kanu’s Biafra.” In this article, he was re-evaluating his continuous defense of Nnamdi Kanu.




But you might want to know why Reno’s reaction is coming at such a critical time as this. You will be shocked.




In the last 24 hours, Reno Omokri had published an audio clip he claimed was sent to him by a former presidential candidate from the south where Kanu angrily shut down IPOB units in UK.




Reno initially thought the clip was a secret message that has not been out in the public domain such that in publishing it, he thought he was leaking an intel. But the message was out a long time ago in an open broadcast. Nnamdi Kanu runs IPOB not as a secret organization.




The disturbing question is, who was the southern politician that furnished Reno with a supposed secret intel from IPOB and what was his motive? The deeper question is; is someone trying to use Reno to hurt Nnamdi Kanu?




Let’s try to put aside our sentiments, we are all learned men. Why didn’t this southern politician send Reno this clip a long time ago? Why is this coming at a time when Nnamdi Kanu cannot defend himself?




This southern politician arguably inspired everything Reno wrote within the last 24 hours and you will be shocked how deep the propaganda was.




The southern politician went on to intimate Reno on the propaganda the DSS put out some days ago trying to blackmail the ESN. The propaganda alleged that Nnamdi Kanu ordered ESN to bury IKONSO with 2,000 heads and to use 10 people to prepare charms to protect them from bullets.




It was not a surprise that Reno bought into this because we cannot underestimate the influence of the so called former presidential candidate on Reno.




Propaganda has always been a viable tool for the Buhari’s government in order to misinform his Nigerian subjects and keep them under perfect control. It was used against Jonathan and all those that championed it then had come out to confess. In this case, it is deployed to reduce Nnamdi Kanu’s credibility and to find a ground to sentence him.




The surprise is not about the propaganda but about the level it’s propagators have reached in order to make them believable. Reno Omokri was the channel to make the lies look credible.




The said ex-presidential candidate unarguably must be an intelligent man, not because he was able to bring Reno to his camp but because he did some damage to Nnamdi Kanu after all. He added the Niger Delta- Biafra crises to it.




The issue of minority has been the most challenging argument in the Biafran struggle. If Biafra is detached today, the Igbos will make above 60 % of the Biafran population. This means that invariably they are going to run Biafra.




But this argument has been defeated long ago when Nnamdi Kanu introduced a system of independence among the constituting nations in Biafra. The Nigerian media is particularly afraid to run this news because of its persuasion.




Nnamdi Kanu argued that Biafra will be made up of 7 independent nations with their own parliament and with the full power of resource control. This means that the population of a particular nation will not determine their say. Each nation will elect their own Prime Ministers and there won’t be need for a general election that would give priority to a particular tribe.




With this format, Kanu’s Biafra eliminated minoritism. Reno Omokri might not know this fact and that was what the ex-presidential candidate did not tell him.




It is such a sad story that Reno made a general conclusion from flimsy facts thrown to his face by the same politicians every Nigerian is uniting against.




Reno complained that many IPOB members attacked him yesterday for his posts and that changed his attitude. If such a reason is why the reputed Reno changed, what then is the assurance of your followers that stronger pressures won’t change your reputation when they come?




Reno Omokri should not loose his guards against the evil people around who would like to use him against their own enemies. People believe a lot in the straightforwardness they see in you, don’t on any instance disappoint them.
