An alliance of Northern gatherings under the protection of Conference of Authoctonous Ethnic Nationalities Communities Development Associations (CONAECDA) has promised to repulse further assaults and killings in their locale by lethal herders. 

The association has an alliance of 400 native gatherings spread across 15 Northern states. 

The alliance on Thursday pledged to stop wanton killings and all types of culpabilities in the North. 

The assertion was made at a public interview in Jos on Thursday, by the Secretary-General of the gathering, Suleman Sukukum.
