Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka is a person I can describe as "All in one person". He has all the gifts from God you could think of

Long lives Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigerian Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka is the highest employer of labour in Enugu state, After the state government.

I cannot forget quickly how essential my Daddy, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka has been and still is to the people of Enugu, Ndi Igbo and humanity in general. After the state government, Mbaka is the highest employer of labour in Enugu state (fact). I praise him for lifting thousands of people out of poverty.

Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka is such a generous giver. His generosity is incomparable to anyone. Testimonies and evidence of his benevolence abound and cut across Igbo - his tribe and beyond. Do we count people he has paid their hospital bills, sent overseas for proper medical attention, empowerments to thousands with enough capital to start their own businesses and even acquire skills, thousand of students on studies under scholarships, car gifts, houses built for the poor and widows, and the list goes on. What a cheerful giver!

Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka is a good orator and a great teacher. I remember listening to his audio tape titled "The Church is in Trouble" back then in 2006 when I was in Jos. That talk pushed me to always search for his new talk. He has indepth knowledge in philosophy, theology, marriage, economy, religion, politics, etc, and you can never fall asleep listening to his talks because they're very interesting. Listen to him teach and you will ask for more.

Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka is a musician. I love people who are gifted in music. One of his songs, "Ebube Mmuonso" I grew up to know made me know who Fr Mbaka was as a kid. I don't really know when that song was released but I grew up to know that song, and till today, I still play that song on my phone very often. I could sing that song from A to Z if asked to. Because of his style of music and his band performance during adoration which I listen to, I made out time to visit Adoration Ministry in March, 2017. I went there to see Fr Mbaka for the first time at the adoration ground and to enjoy the renditions from his band, and I wish always to attend his adoration every week. There is fullness of joy at Mbaka's Adoration Ministry, no hyperbole intended here.

Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka is a nice prolific writer as well. I bought one of his daily devotional books titled "Adoration Daily Anointing". It's a nice companion to any good reader.

Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka is a person I can describe as "All in one person". He has all the gifts from God you could think of. I admire his personality so much. Sometimes I wish I could have half of his gifts bestowed on me. But it's not a human making.

On the ban placed on Fr Mbaka and the adoration ministry by bishop Onaga, first, I understand that what the bishop did is to save the image of the Catholic church as well as prevent maliciousness among christians, political actors and participants and tribal conflicts. But the bishop of Enugu diocese in particular and the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) should be lenient in dishing out punishment to Fr Mbaka. We must accept that Mbaka is of a great value to Ndi Enugu, Ndi Igbo, the Catholic church and Nigeria as a whole. While we look at his flaws and their consequences, we should pay greater attention to his value to humanity. We shouldn't lose 1,000 trying to save 100. Yes, it's on political position that Mbaka incurred the ban, it's still politics that would lift the ban.

I sense this ban is likely to last till after next year's election, but I plead with all those concerned - bishops, priests, Catholic faithful, prominent individuals in the church and all of us to help make this ban as short as it could be. Left for me to suggest, it should last for just three months. I believe during this period, series of meetings would have taken place between Fr Mbaka and many people. Mbaka is a human being and has his senses complete. He is going to come back a better person.

Finally, it's good we all reacted the way we did. Fr Mbaka didn't see this coming from the masses, he didn't expect this kind of reaction. A situation where no one was with him this time around. If we had rallied around him as many of us would previously do, we would have made fools of ourselves. We should condemn evil when we see one, but after condemnation, we rebuild by corrections.

I urge us all to slow down our anger henceforth on this issue. Time for corrections and positive contributions on the way forward. We could use our social media platforms to write on the good sides of Mbaka and the need to lift the ban placed on him. We want Adoration Ministry back. Remember, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka is still our own, a true son of Igbo tribe who has always spoken for us and stood for us, Mbaka is still a priest of the most high, he has sacrificed and worked so hard for the church and humanity. Let's remember him in our prayers that God still can use him to bless many people as has been the case.

Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka should not be suspended for too long. I love Fr Ejike Mbaka. He has been my Daddy in the Lord. I will continue to love you, Fr Mbaka.

Long live, Fr Mbaka!
Long live, Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria (AMEN)!!
